I had created a phone call from your friend recently as she had thought we would stop using Outlook Express on her behalf Windows XP and start using Microsoft Outlook. One of the many reasons behind ps3 slim utilise the Calendar and reminders that are features of Microsoft Outlook. Easy enough task she thought, however, if I reminded her in regards to the must transfer the messages and contacts, it changed her mind and then she considered sticking to Outlook Express . Well as it proved, it turned out a job that must be planned, but was quite easy. Firstly, might know about did was open OE (Outlook Express) and in the File menu tab, select Export and then Messages. This would allow us to export all of her current email, a mixture of messages in their Inbox as well as hundreds that was filed away in folders for future reference. Well, if we engaged Export then Messages, Outlook Express prompted us that the process would automatically export the messages to Microsoft Outlook or Microsoft Exchange. Sweet, exactly what we wanted!

Step 2 was to export out the contacts so that they could be found in Microsoft Outlook and save continuously keying in those email addresses of friends, family and business acquaintances. Again, it turned into a simple task of choosing Export through the File menu tab in Outlook Express, however, this time selecting Address Book as an alternative to messages. This described the Address Book Export Tool. Now this brought us into a sudden halt even as we were prompted with two export options. One would have been to export to a Exchange Personal Address Book as well as the second with a Text File (comma separated values - CSV). Without having Exchange available we selected the next option, closed our eyes and hit the Export button. Well we were prompted for a place to save the exported CSV, and thought we would save it on the Desktop and referred to it as addresses.csv Could all of it be so easy and easy? Now all we wanted to do was open up Microsoft Outlook and see what else must be completed. So it is precisely what happened, opened up Microsoft Outlook and voila, all of the messages ended up imported into Microsoft Outlook. To make sure we might send and receive email in Microsoft Outlook, we also necessary to go and hang up in the email account details underneath the Tools menu tab. Even as we had 'microsoft office' 2007 installed, we selected Account Settings from your Tools menu tab and proceeded to create a new email account from instructions supplied by her email supplier. Almost all of the details we would have liked may be extracted from back checking the settings from the old Outlook Express program under Tools, Accounts and Mail. These included her name, email address, incoming and outgoing servers and her email password. As we tested sending a message into a friend, we were reminded that people we had not imported in the contacts from Outlook Express Login. And then we searched and located on the File menu tab Import and Export that gave us a selection of actions to execute. The best choice was Import from another program or file, so that's what we clicked and that we were prompted to pick folders type. Now both of us remembered we had exported the contacts in a comma separated value file or CSV file, so proceeded to scroll through the report on options and found what seemed like a best match, Comma Separated Values (Windows). After that it prompted for a file and that we browsed on the Desktop and found the addresses.csv file created only minutes before, selected to import in the Contacts folder and waited. Only seconds later it completed and we then clicked on the Contacts from the navigation pane and can see her contacts from Outlook Express.
